Our Opportunity
Roster: 8 Dayd / 6 Off FIFO Ex Perth
Location: Cloudbreak
Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples
Reporting to the Water Management Superintendent, this role is responsible for supervising the performance and execution of all project delivery activities in accordance with the schedule and plan. The primary objective is to ensure that all projects are delivered safely, meeting the required quality standards, and staying within the approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision project execution processes and routines to support the highest standard of compliance for all safety, standards, and policies
- Lead with influence to create a team culture to support the Project Foundations and Fortescue Values
- Safety and quality verification through in-field monitoring
- Incident reporting and investigation with the HSE team
- Site Access and other Mobilisation activities for site-based execution teams
- Contractor performance management (Managed and Monitored Contractors)
- Monitor alignment to construction schedules, methods, adequate resourcing, material, and equipment requirements, including daily execution documentation
- Produce daily milestone report including weather, progress, resources, actions, and risks
- Liaise with the Materials/Logistics Controllers to ensure equipment and materials are available, equipment management, and VOC (Verification of Competency) of operators
- Management with the PE (Production Engineer) for Isolation activities and coordination with respective operations team
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in project management
- Strong leadership and supervision abilities to manage project delivery teams effectively
- Proficiency in implementing and monitoring safety standards and compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members, stakeholders, and contractors
- Problem-solving skills to address issues and ensure project delivery without delays
