Our Opportunity

 

0.5 FTE Part-time/Job Share Arrangement

 

Work Location: Perth - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

 

Roster:  Monday to Friday (working 5 days on, 9 days off)

 

During this exciting time at Fortescue, with innovation projects changing the way we work, we are currently seeking a Trainer and Assessor with substantial on-site experience to join our team. This position will provide Training and Assessing requirements to our Training Delivery Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of all Induction related Training and Assessing via a variety of delivery methods including Virtual, Blended and Face to Face
  • Collaboration with the team to improve training content and delivery methods
  • Delivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision.
  • Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Hands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essential
  • Administrative and scheduling duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a willingness to commit to obtaining this qualification. (Full support provided)
  • A passion for our company values
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner.
  • Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and any Virtual training platforms.
  • SAP / LMS experience highly regarded
