During this exciting time of transformation at Fortescue—where innovation is redefining the way we work—we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our Training Delivery Team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with both customers and site teams to deliver high-quality training, including inductions, practical assessments, enterprise programs, and FMG-specific compliance training. Your strong on-site experience and proactive approach to safety and development will help ensure our workforce is skilled, competent, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
- Working with our customers and providing training support
- Delivering Inductions, Practical assessments and enterprise training
- Delivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
- Execute Training plans and schedules to site teams
- Develop enduring relationships with onsite departments
- Proactively drive training compliance to business requirements
- Participate in the continuous improvement of training materials
Qualifications and Experience
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessing or working towards
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner
- HR Class Licence (Desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence (Desirable) LF,WP
- Ability to train and assess a wide range of competencies to assist with site requirements
- A strong communicator who is confident with presenting to large audiences
- Learning Management System experience and proficient with the Microsoft suite
- Resource or Construction industry experience required
- Microsoft Office suite and any Virtual training platforms.
