Travel Shutdown Coordinator
Our Opportunity
Work Location: Perth Office - Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Regular site travel is required during shutdowns (approximately every third swing).
Roster: 8D/6R Thu
This opportunity is for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
We are looking for a dedicated Shutdown Travel Coordinator to join Fortescue’s Travel team. Reporting to the Shutdown Travel Superintendent this position is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth delivery of our shutdowns by managing travel logistics for our contracting partners across Fortescue sites. Working closely with the shutdown planning and execution teams, you will oversee mobilisation, flight bookings, and administrative tasks to ensure shutdown operations run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage mobilisation logistics for shutdown crews
- Provide onsite support to planning teams during shutdowns as required
- Arrange commercial and domestic flights and accommodation
- Respond to travel-related queries and provide timely support
- Communicate with internal departments and external contractors
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring high data quality and consistency
