Our Opportunity
Location: Eliwana/Flying Fish, Pilbara region, Western Australia (90 km west of Tom Price), on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.
Roster: 7 days on, 7 nights on, 14 days off – FIFO from Perth and Busselton.

As a Tyre Technician at Fortescue's Eliwana mine, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of a range of large-scale mining equipment, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Your work will involve conducting critical inspections and repairs to keep our mining fleet running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- All aspects of tyre maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Adhere to Fortescue’s procedures and work instructions.
- Demonstrate absolute commitment to safety and site safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR2190) or equivalent – OTR experience is essential.
- Previous experience in tyre fitting, preferably in a mining environment.
- Mobile plant experience is essential.
- High regard for safety.
- Heavy Rigid Driver’s License.
