Work Management Lead
Our Opportunity
Location: 256 St Georges Tce, East Perth
Roster: 5D2R, 7.6 hours per day
As a Work Management Lead within the Maintenance Processes & Systems your primary responsibility is to ensure effective governance and continuous improvement of Work Management practices across the organisation. You will coordinate the daily activities of the Work Management support team spanning master data, technical writing, and content development while providing leadership, guidance, and development planning to drive team performance.
In this role, you will act as the key interface between maintenance, asset management, business support teams to enable maintenance readiness and operational excellence. You will champion quality and consistency in maintenance content, ensuring documentation, procedures, and standards are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business requirements.
You will also oversee the creation, review, and continuous improvement of Work Management content and training materials. This includes streamlining documentation, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring that training materials remain current with evolving processes, systems, and technologies. By collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders, you will support training, onboarding, and coaching programs to strengthen workforce capability.
Through regular reporting, audits, and leadership updates, you will monitor content quality, process compliance, data integrity, and backlogs. Ultimately, your contribution will be pivotal in optimising the usability of standards and work instructions, embedding discipline in Work Management practices, and driving sustainable improvements in efficiency, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily activities/projects of the Work Management support team (master data, technical writing, and content development)
- Provide leadership through regular routines and development planning support
- Ensure maintenance content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business standards
- Act as the key interface between planning, scheduling, execution, and master data teams to ensure effective maintenance readiness
- Champion Work Management processes, with a focus on quality, discipline, and continuous improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline documentation and improve the usability of work instructions/standards
- Provide leadership updates on content quality, backlogs, data integrity, and process compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content is developed and kept up to date
- Support training, onboarding, and coaching for programs
- Regularly review and update existing training documents to reflect changes in Work Management processes, requirements and technology
- Conduct reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of training materials
- Provide training and support to users on how to effectively utilise Work Management documentation and training
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years SAP Plant Maintenance experience
- Strong SAP Plant Maintenance business process skills
- Proven experience creating and reviewing technical documents preferably in a Work Management or Maintenance capacity
- Proficient using Microsoft 365, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with S/4 HANA Fiori, SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Enable Now and Articulate Rise, Multimedia development is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn modern technologies and techniques
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
