Position: Loadmaster


Roster: 8D/6R (Residential strongly preferred)

 

About the Role: You'll be at the heart of our marine operations, ensuring safe and efficient coordination within our terminal. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and uphold our commitment to safety and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor and coordinate safe ship loading.
  • Vet vessels, verify load plans, and address loading queries.
  • Ensure compliance with IMSBC, ISPS, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
  • Provide marine expertise to other departments.
  • Calculate and distribute Berthing Plans.
  • Record shipment statistical data.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment Policies.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Master Class 1 Certificate of Competency (strongly preferred).
  • Valid MSIC Card or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
  • Valid Driver’s License (C Class).
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
