Our Opportunity

 

Work Location: Hedland Operations - Port Hedland - Fortescue’s Hedland Operations is located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

 

 

Roster: 4D/3R Residential in Hedland. Potential option to FIFO ex Perth. 

 

 

The Shutdown Electrical Planner uses their experience and passion for innovation in maintenance planning to find ways of making our site safer and more productive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement key work management KPI’s for the Shutdown execution teams.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information on equipment history, reliability, and maintenance requirements.
  • Work with the long-term & weekly planners to initiate maintenance strategies in SAP.
  • Prioritise and incorporate safety protocols into all shutdown plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all inputs from up-stream and external suppliers are delivered to meet requirements.
  • Work to continually improve performance and costs within the team by promoting and encouraging initiative and innovation.
  • Provide input to maintenance budgeting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in shutdown or maintenance planning within the mining or heavy industry.
  • Electrical Trade or Engineering qualification essential
  • Working experience of SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, safety regulations, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Iron Ore Operations desirable but not essential
