Trainer & Assessor - Rail Operations

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Port Hedland -  Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth or Residential

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive rail training programs
• Enterprise and accredited on site training to rail operations
• Reviewing and updating processes/procedures, develop, validate and moderate Training Assessment Strategies (TAS), assessment, and learning/resource materials
• Undertake audits and safety processes as required
• Provide hands-on support through face-to-face classes and Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate IV in Train Driving (Highly desirable)
• Background in rail operations with a focus on competencies within the industry
• TAE40116 or TAE40120 Certificate IV Training and Assessment
• Experience in developing and delivering accredited training and conducting operations in accordance with the ASQA/TAC/RTO framework
• Have worked for an RTO or have RTO experience (Highly desirable)
