Our Opportunity
Work Location: Hedland Operations - Rail
- Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 8D/6R FIFO ex Perth
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team, specialising in rail operations and infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on professional who can deliver both enterprise and accredited on-site training, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of safety and competency across rail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive rail training programs
- Enterprise and accredited on site training to rail operations
- Reviewing and updating processes/procedures, develop, validate and moderate Training Assessment Strategies (TAS), assessment, and learning/resource materials
- Undertake audits and safety processes as required
- Provide hands-on support through face-to-face classes and Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure (Highly desirable)
- Background in track maintenance with a focus on competencies within the industry
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Experience in developing and delivering accredited training and conducting operations in accordance with the ASQA/TAC/RTO framework
- Have worked for an RTO or have RTO experience (Highly desirable)
