Work Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Fixed Plant Operations Supervisor to join the Iron Bridge OPF Processing Team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the fixed plant, guiding daily operations to achieve production goals while upholding the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and company standards, including health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as the WHS Act and Regulations.
- Actively promote and uphold the company's policies, procedures, and values.
- Lead safety initiatives, identifying and implementing measures to improve safety performance.
- Foster a strong team culture by mentoring, training, and developing the operational team to enhance skills and effectiveness.
- Drive plant optimisation by ensuring operational targets are met efficiently.
- Work closely with the Maintenance team to minimise downtime and ensure timely preventative maintenance.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a fixed plant or similar operational environment is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership and team management experience in an operational context.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and equipment.
