Work Location: Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

 

Roster: 7D/7N/14R – FIFO ex Perth, Broome, Karratha

 

Reporting to the Superintendent, IS, this position is responsible to deliver safe, high-quality work as required to the Infrastructure Services team. With accountability for the compilation, recording and escalation of fuel reports and water sample results, as well as a focus on supporting the Leadership team to achieve greater time in field. This role is based working from Cloudbreak.

 

The successful execution of this work will be paramount in the site achieving safety and production targets. Infrastructure Services maintains assets across the entire mine site operations and camp facilities including, but not limited to accommodation buildings, offices, workshops, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and water productions facilities (RO Plants).

Key Responsibilities

  • High safety focus and risk perception at all times
  • Provide support to the Christmas Creek IS Leadership team
  • Reconciliation of all fuel deliveries and stocks onsite
  • Order of consumables, PPE and office supplies
  • Oversee onboarding process
  • Compile expense reports on behalf of Leadership team
  • Use of SAP to determine material availability
  • Oversee invoice and SES process
  • Comply with company procedures, policies and life saving choices at all times
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to undertaking tasks B

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification with proven experience in a Fixed Plant maintenance environment 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Fortescue process and systems, including but not limited to; SAP, BMS, SAM’s and Success Factors.
  • Ability to utilise Restrack
  • Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Teams
  • Site Standards and Regulations
  • Fuel reconciliation process
