Our Opportunity
Work Location: Perth – Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people
Roster: Monday to Friday
The Aftermarket Delivery Principal – will lead the end-to-end delivery of the OEM support model. This includes project planning and execution, change management, operational readiness, and cross company stakeholder engagement.
This role requires a proven professional who can operate across multiple streams, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes that support Fortescue's strategic Aftermarket objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the OEM support strategy to enable best practice fleet support.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and scopes across the defined strategy.
- Assist in developing and implementing adequate performance reporting metrics for newly delivered scopes.
- Drive operational readiness, coordinating with OEM stakeholders to ensure effective transition.
- Manage change across people, and processes with structured engagement and communication.
- Engage with OEMs and relevant vendors to manage installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management, proactively resolving barriers to progress.
- Support training, communications, and stakeholder reporting to ensure alignment and smooth adoption.
- Promote safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications in Engineering, Mining, Project Management, or related discipline or trade-based qualifications.
- Formal project management certification desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within mining, technology, or automation domains.
- Familiarity with operational readiness and change enablement processes.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timeframes effectively.
- High-level communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Understanding of OEM aftermarket requirements
- Knowledge of decarbonisation targets and alignment with operational strategy.
