  • Identify gaps and opportunities across Asset Health technology, monitoring coverage, processes and data capability.
  • Develop and prioritise business cases for new technologies, capabilities and strategic initiatives based on value, risk and business needs.
  • Define Asset Health indicators and measures to track asset condition, risk, program performance and business value.
  • Support the transition toward preventative and condition-based maintenance through scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Guide the adoption of technologies including online and remote monitoring, automated alerting, analytics and emerging Asset Health solutions.
  • Partner with site and central teams to improve the use of Asset Health data in maintenance and operational decision-making.
  • Provide strategic guidance on cost-effective defect detection, monitoring and Asset Health solutions across multiple asset classes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong experience in Asset Health, reliability engineering, condition monitoring or maintenance strategy within mining or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing multi-year technical strategies, roadmaps or capability uplift programs.
  • Experience translating technical opportunities into business cases, implementation plans and measurable business outcomes.
  • Broad exposure across asset classes such as Heavy Mobile Equipment, Rail, Fixed Plant and green assets.
  • Strong knowledge of condition-based maintenance, reliability, defect elimination and condition monitoring principles.
  • Knowledge of Asset Health data, monitoring technologies, analytics, automated alerting and emerging technologies.
  • Strong strategic thinking, technical problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across site and central teams.
  • An Engineering degree or relevant Mechanical/Electrical trade qualification with substantial Asset Health or reliability experience, plus a current WA Driver’s Licence.
