Fortescue is seeking an  Electrician to join our CHF maintenance and operations team.

You will lead by example, demonstrate Fortescue values and safe behaviours, and support the team to deliver reliable plant performance and production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the effective utilisation of plant to support production targets.
• Work within Fixed Plant operations and maintenance in the mining industry, particularly wet plant equipment.
• Provide support and input into maintenance planning processes to ensure scheduled tasks are achievable and support safe and efficient production.
• Ensure Electrical Statutory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• WA Electrical Licence – essential.
• HV Switching Qualification and experience – essential.
• Experience working with ABB ASC1000 and ACS880 VSDs is highly desirable.
• Exposure to JORC filter belts is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency across SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of the WA Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
