Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth or Port Hedland Residential
Join Fortescue and play a key role in delivering critical projects across our world-class facilities in Port Hedland.
We’re looking for a motivated Engineering Project Planner with a strong project controls capability to support the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of fixed plant upgrades, control systems, rail and other capital works.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with multiple teams to plan multi-year works across Anderson Point and Rail
- Plan and coordinate multiple discipline capital projects
- Liaise with Project Managers to ensure project timeframes and budgets are achieved
- Support budget development, cost control and monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Assist stakeholders with Project Framework and DCRM requirements, ensuring compliance
- Undertake detailed scoping activities with subject matter experts to support accurate planning, cost tracking and reporting
Qualifications and Experience
- SAP knowledge, with more than two years’ experience required
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting or accounting required
- Previous DCRM experience desired
- Extensive and proven Microsoft Excel experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple teams and subject matter experts
- Strong leadership, communication and cost tracking skills, with the ability to positively influence stakeholders at all levels
