Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

 

Roster: Monday-Friday 

 

The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing and communications activities. Acting as the operational backbone of the team, this role ensures campaigns, projects, supplier relationships, systems and day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

 

The role provides coordination, administrative and reporting support across a broad range of activities—from campaign delivery and content publishing to supplier management, procurement and reporting coordination.

 

You’ll be highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with a passion for keeping projects moving, solving problems and enabling others to deliver their best work.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate the delivery of marketing and communications campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Support digital channels through website updates, content publishing, social media scheduling and digital asset management.
  • Prepare marketing materials, presentations, reports and campaign documentation while maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
  • Coordinate events, sponsorships and activations, including supplier management, logistics and content capture.
  • Manage marketing technology platforms, including Jira and content management systems, to improve team efficiency and collaboration.
  • Provide financial and procurement support by raising purchase orders, processing invoices, tracking budgets and liaising with suppliers.
  • Compile campaign, digital and engagement reporting, maintaining dashboards and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, proactively managing requests, approvals and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • 2–3 years' experience in an administration, coordination or similar support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience raising purchase orders, processing invoices and supporting financial administration is desirable.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Digitally savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • A proactive, collaborative team player with a positive, can-do approach and willingness to support across a variety of tasks.
