The Package Lead – Wind Turbine Supply & Supervise is responsible for delivery of the wind turbine OEM package within the broader project framework.
The role leads the execution of the package across contract management, OEM interface, design assurance, manufacturing, and site supervision, ensuring alignment with project requirements, schedule, and budget.
Working within a matrix structure, the role provides leadership across internal and external stakeholders to manage risk, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the Wind Turbine Supply & Supervise package, ensuring alignment with project schedule, cost, quality, and governance requirements
- Maintain clear visibility of package progress, risks, interfaces, and dependencies, escalating issues proactively with recommended mitigation actions
- Administer OEM contracts, including management of variations, claims, payment milestones, and associated commercial processes
- Support strong commercial outcomes through structured negotiation, risk management, and compliance with project governance frameworks
- Act as the primary interface with the turbine OEM, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and site supervision activities
- Manage technical queries, clarifications, and issue resolution to support seamless package delivery and stakeholder alignment
- Provide technical oversight to ensure turbine design compliance with project specifications, standards, and operational requirements
- Identify, track, and mitigate technical risks, NCRs, and design deviations in collaboration with project stakeholders
- Oversee OEM manufacturing, FAT, inspection, logistics, and supplier performance to ensure delivery readiness and quality outcomes
- Collaborate closely with construction and commissioning teams to support execution integration, commissioning readiness, defect resolution, and safe package delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree-qualified Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical or similar)
- Experience working on large equipment supply or OEM packages (renewables or infrastructure)
- Solid understanding of contract administration and project delivery processes
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and interfaces
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong understanding of technical compliance, quality assurance, and risk management within complex engineering or infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across project, operational, contractor, and OEM teams.
