Work Location:  Perth, Western Australia.  Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

 

Roster:  Monday to Friday.

 

Join Fortescue's growing Aftermarket business and play a key role in delivering the projects that will shape the future of our operations.

 

As the Senior Project Analyst, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives, providing the project governance, delivery insight and support that enables successful outcomes across multiple value streams.

 

Reporting to the Project Manager – Aftermarket, you'll partner with leaders across the business to improve project visibility, strengthen governance and support informed decision-making. Working across all pillars of the aftermarket business you'll help deliver feasibility assessments and transform emerging ideas into operational performance and business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team where you'll have the autonomy to influence processes, improve project delivery and contribute to the continued success of Fortescue's Aftermarket business.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain project reporting, dashboards and governance documentation that provide clear visibility of project performance, risks and delivery outcomes.
  • Analyse project data and performance trends, providing meaningful insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate integrated schedules across multiple workstreams, tracking milestones, dependencies and risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support business case development, opportunity assessments and governance activities by preparing high-quality analysis, reporting and presentation materials.
  • Monitor project budgets, resource utilisation and delivery performance, escalating risks and variances where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline reporting, strengthen project controls and improve delivery processes across the Aftermarket portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Demonstrated experience in project support, project controls, PMO, business analysis or project coordination within a complex operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery disciplines, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, governance and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data into practical insights and decision-ready information.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and project reporting tools such as Power BI or similar.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Supply Chain or a related discipline is highly regarded.
