Expression of interest: Technology and artificial intelligence opportunities

Fortescue is building a strong pipeline of people who can help us use technology, data and artificial intelligence to solve complex problems and create a better future.

We are inviting expressions of interest from people who enjoy learning, improving the way things work and turning ideas into practical outcomes.

You do not need a university degree, a specific job title or a traditional technology background to apply. You do not need experience in artificial intelligence or need to use technical language in your response. We are interested in understanding what you have done, how you solve problems, what you would like to learn and the skills you have developed through work, study, projects or personal interests.

You may have experience in:

• software development or engineering
• data analysis, data science or working with large data sets
• optimisation, modelling or problem-solving
• leading technology or business improvement projects
• developing products, systems or digital solutions
• working with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs
• translating complex information into practical solutions
• testing, improving or implementing new technology.

You do not need to have experience across all these areas. We are interested in people who are curious, collaborative and willing to work through complex problems. You may be an experienced professional, someone looking to transition into technology or artificial intelligence or a person who has developed strong technical skills outside a traditional career pathway.

At Fortescue, we value different perspectives and understand that capability can be developed in many ways. Whether your skills have been gained through formal education, employment, community involvement, personal projects or lived experience, we encourage you to express your interest.
