  • Staff Incentive Plan (SIP)

    Our annual Staff Incentive Plan (SIP) rewards eligible team members based on company, team, and individual performance. The SIP award can be received in the form of cash or a combination of cash and Fortescue shares.

  • Salary Sacrifice & Share Plan

    Fortescue's Salary Sacrifice Share Plan allows eligible team members to acquire Fortescue shares through pre-tax income each year, so that you can share in the company's success. We also offer other salary sacrifice options, including superannuation contributions, airport parking, flights and accommodation, personal electronic devices, tools, and novated leasing.

  • Annual Leave & Personal Leave

    Fortescue offers four weeks of annual leave per year (five weeks for continuous shift workers) and 10 days of personal leave. Eligible team members may also have the option to purchase up to 10 additional days of leave per year.

  • Superannuation

    Fortescue contributes 12% to your superannuation. Team members also have the opportunity to make additional contributions through our superannuation salary sacrifice plan.

Support for Families

We understand the importance of balancing work and family commitments. That's why we offer a range of benefits and flexible options to help support you and your loved ones.

  • Parental Leave

    Fortescue offers 26 continuous weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers. Secondary carers are encouraged to take two continuous weeks of paid parental leave within the first year following the birth or adoption of their child. If both parents are Fortescue employees, they may take primary and secondary leave at the same time.

  • Flexible Working Arrangements

    We value work-life balance and offer a variety of flexible working options. Team members can choose from formal and informal arrangements, including staggered start and finish times, remote work, part-time, and job share opportunities. We also provide additional flexibility for team members with families during school holiday periods.

  • Fortescue Family Room

    Perth-based team members with children have access to our free child-minding service at the Fortescue Family Room, located in our Perth CBD office. The Family Room is operated by qualified child carers and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for children between the ages of 8 weeks and 12 years.

  • Nursing Room

    We offer private and quiet rooms at our Perth CBD office for nursing parents, providing a comfortable and private space to care for children.

Counselling and Wellbeing

Our free, professional services help you and your loved ones navigate any challenges.

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to you, your partner, and any dependant children under 25 to help you through any personal or work-related issues that may be affecting your wellbeing.

Wellness Centre

Our Perth Wellness Centre offers free daily yoga, pilates, and meditation from Monday to Friday.
